This set of posters is inspired by the Midcentury Modern movement and the furniture designs created by architects. In this volume, there are five of the most famous chairs designed by architects like Marcel Breuer (Wassily - 1925) from the Bauhaus school, Mies Van Der Rohe (Barcelona - 1929), Charles and Ray Eames (Eames Lounge - 1956), Arne Jacobsen (Swan - 1958) and FrankGehry (Wiggle - 1969).
These pieces of art are a clear representation of the modernist movements during the middle of the XX century. One might ask why is Gehry here, but I think his chair reflects the same philosophy that was behind the modernist movement, specifically the need for simplification and usage of industrial materials for objects of everyday use. The simplicity of the Wiggle chair and the uncommon industrial material - cardboard, gives it an unforgettable experience.

Each piece of furniture tells the story of its creation. They have inspired countless architects and designers over several decades, and still manage to stay relevant in the nowadays crowded design world.

If you are a passionate lover of the midcentury modern period of the last century, or simply appreciate the elegant design, these posters will make their mark in your rooms by bringing the essence of the midcentury modern design.
